Captain Vidal, if he were approached very carefully, would certainly be willing to give information about Hong Kong and Indo-China. From Fort Bayard we travelled via Wat-Lam-Luichow-Kwei lin Kweyang Kuming Calcutta. The Chinese authorities gave us identity papers in their territory, and the Free French Delegate at Chungking, Commandant Escarra, having sent us funds to Kweiling we continued our journey through to India.
